Ilse
Treurnicht is an entrepreneur with extensive senior management experience
in start-up technology companies. She has been involved in commercialization
of a broad range of technologies from the lab bench through to large-scale
manufacturing, working with both academic and independent inventors.
She has consulted to small and large companies, industry associations
and government research organizations.
Ilse received her M.Sc. cum laude in polymer science from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. She earned a doctorate in chemistry at Oxford University in the United Kingdom, which she attended as a Rhodes Scholar, and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. |
